AMD has expanded support for its latest FSR 4.1 AI-powered upscaling technology to Radeon RX 7000 Series graphics cards through the newly released AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition 26.6.2 driver.
Previously available only on RDNA 4-based graphics cards, FSR 4.1 is now making its way to the Radeon RX 7000 Series (RDNA 3), giving more gamers access to AMD’s latest image upscaling technology. The announcement was shared by Jack Huynh, Senior Vice President and General Manager of AMD’s Computing and Graphics Group.
According to AMD, the update brings AI-powered upscaling that delivers sharper image quality, improved temporal stability, and better overall gaming performance. FSR 4.1 is already supported in more than 300 games, significantly expanding the reach of the technology across the Radeon ecosystem.
AMD also confirmed that it is developing new lightweight machine learning models designed to bring FSR 4.1 support to RDNA 3 APUs in the future, with more details expected at a later date.
