GIGABYTE has announced that its latest flagship AI gaming laptop, the AORUS MASTER 16 Gen 2 (2026), will officially arrive in the Philippine market on July 30, 2026. The premium gaming notebook combines desktop-class performance, AI-powered features, and an ultra-thin 19mm chassis, making it suitable for gamers, creators, and AI-focused workloads.
The laptop was also recognized with the COMPUTEX 2026 Best Choice Award, highlighting its innovation in gaming and AI computing.

The AORUS MASTER 16 Gen 2 is powered by up to an AMD Ryzen 9 9955HX3D processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 Laptop GPU, delivering performance that approaches a high-end desktop PC. The laptop also features a MUX Switch, allowing users to quickly switch between integrated and discrete graphics for improved gaming or battery efficiency.
For AI workloads, the system offers up to 1,824 AI TOPS, enabling faster AI-assisted content creation, development, and productivity applications.
Keeping the hardware cool is GIGABYTE’s WINDFORCE INFINITY EX cooling system, which combines a vapor chamber with the new Frost Fan 2.0 design. The thermal solution supports up to 230W system power, helping maintain stable performance while minimizing fan noise during demanding workloads.
Built-In AI Assistant for Productivity
One of the standout features of the AORUS MASTER 16 Gen 2 is GiMATE, GIGABYTE’s exclusive AI assistant designed to simplify system management and improve productivity.
GiMATE Creator enables users to run generative image models locally with a streamlined setup, while GiMATE Coder assists developers by generating, correcting, and optimizing code using natural language. The feature also integrates with Visual Studio Code to provide AI-powered code completion and faster debugging.
OLED Display Designed for Gaming and Content Creation
The AORUS MASTER 16 Gen 2 features a 16-inch OLED display with a 2560×1600 (QHD+) resolution, 240Hz refresh rate, and an ultra-fast 0.2ms response time. The panel covers 100% of the DCI-P3 color gamut and delivers a 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio, making it suitable for both competitive gaming and professional content creation.
The display also carries several certifications, including Pantone Validated, TÜV Rheinland, VESA ClearMR 10000, VESA DisplayHDR 1000, and Dolby Vision.
