The ASUS ROG Crosshair Vi Hero is one of the best X370 motherboards available right now and we are going to check out why. We got this high-end X370 motherboard as part of our AMD Ryzen review kit and it definitely lives up to the ASUS ROG brand name.
Aesthetics
The ASUS Crosshair VI Hero board features a black PCB with a plastic armor overlay on top of the board’s rear panel and audio subsystem components. The gunmetal finish definitely fits any color scheme and can be customized with some pretty cool RGB lighting compatible with ASUS’ own RGB Aura Sync software. So for those RGB fanatics out there, you are not gonna miss out on anything.
The motherboard has integrated RGB LEDs in the rear panel and chipset covers, as well as dual on-board 4-pin RGB headers which can be controlled via the AURA app, with nine different lighting modes: Static, Breathing, Strobing, Color Cycle, Music Effect, CPU Temperature controlled, Rainbow, Comet, and Flash & Dash.
