The X370 chipset supports all of AMD’s Ryzen processor line and can be used with Dual Channel DDR4 memory rated up to 3200MHz speed.
*Do take note that on the stock BIOS, I couldn’t get beyond 2933MHz using the included 2x8GB GEIL EVO X RGB 3200mhz memory with the review kit but after flashing the latest BIOS, I could run 3200MHz with no problem.*
The following features also have been integrated into the board:

  • ASUS SupremeFX S1220 8-Channel audio subsystem
  • and variety of USB 2.0, 3.0, and 3.1 Type-A and Type-C port.

Audio

The ASUS built the Crosshair VI Hero’s audio subsystem around the SupremeFX CODEC, featuring Nichicon audio capacitors, switching MOSFETs, a high-precision clock source, an ESS ESS9023P DAC, and an RC4580 audio buffer and they deliver superior audio performance.
